Village at Arrowhead Hosts Festivities to Provide Fun and Needed Food for Food Bank
Glendale, AZ (PRWEB) June 19, 2007 -- Good old-fashioned fun, including music by the 52nd Street Dixieland Jazz band, five different bouncy houses and a slide, magic shows, snow cones, a clown making animal balloons, popcorn, cake walk, cotton candy, face painting, piñatas, $1 grilled hot dogs and much more will all be a part of the fun at the Summer Family Fun Picnic and Food Drive from noon to 2 p.m. July 21 at The Village at Arrowhead, 20050 N. 67th Ave. in Glendale.
Activities will take place under the shopping center's cool misting system. Admission is two cans of non-perishable food per person which will be donated to the St. Mary's/Westside Food Bank Alliance.
"Our Summer Family Fun Picnic and Food Drive is a great way to enjoy some quality time with the family, as well as provide needed non perishable items for the food bank," said Mary Walker, president of Power Promotions and marketing promoter of the upscale shopping center.
"There is always a serious shortage of food donations in the summer months and this is a great way to help others and set a good example for our children.
